Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using DemoVaults ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including Free, Pro, and Label plan subscribers.
2. The Service
DemoVaults is an AI-powered music demo management platform that allows musicians, producers, and labels to upload, organize, analyze, and share music demos. Features include AI tagging, lyrics transcription, BPM and key detection, searchable demo library, pitch creation, and demo sharing tools.
3. Account Registration
- You must be at least 13 years old to use DemoVaults
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You may not share your account credentials with others
- One person may not maintain multiple free accounts
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
Plans
- Free — 1 GB storage, 20 one-time points, cannot purchase add-ons
- Pro — $14.99/month or $161.99/year (save 10%), 5 GB storage, 100 points/month, can purchase add-ons, Protected Pitch (1 point each)
- Label — $49.99/month or $539.99/year (save 10%), 20 GB storage, 350 points/month, can purchase add-ons, Protected Pitch included
Points & AI Actions
AI features consume points: Tags + Summary (2 pts), Lyrics (2 pts), BPM & Key (1 pt), Full Analysis (5 pts), Cover Image (2 pts). Re-running certain previously completed actions may cost fewer points. Points for failed AI tasks are automatically refunded.
Add-ons
Pro and Label subscribers may purchase additional storage (+20 GB for $5/month) or point packs (+100 points for $9.99, +300 points for $24.99). Free plan users cannot purchase add-ons.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. On iOS, subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you authorize us (or the applicable platform) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. Yearly subscriptions are billed as a single upfront payment for 12 months at a discounted rate.
Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. On iOS, manage or cancel your subscriptions through Settings > Subscriptions on your device, or visit the App Store. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. Yearly subscriptions are non-refundable; monthly subscriptions and consumable purchases (point packs) may be refunded per the applicable platform's standard refund policy.
Plan Changes
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If you exceed the storage limit of your plan, uploads will be paused until you upgrade or free up space.
5. Your Content
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all audio files, lyrics, and content you upload to DemoVaults. We do not claim any ownership over your music.
License to Us
By uploading content, you grant DemoVaults a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your music for AI training without explicit written consent.
Your Responsibility
You represent that you own or have the legal right to upload all content you submit. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other rights.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use DemoVaults to:
- Upload content you do not own or have rights to
- Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
- Scrape or extract data from DemoVaults without permission
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Impersonate other users or DemoVaults staff
- Circumvent storage or AI usage limits through automation
7. AI Features
AI-generated tags, transcriptions, BPM/key detection, descriptions, cover art, and analyses are provided as-is and may not always be accurate. They are tools to assist your workflow, not professional legal or licensing opinions. AI actions consume points from your account balance. No AI action runs automatically without your explicit selection. DemoVaults does not guarantee the accuracy of AI outputs or any commercial outcome resulting from their use.
8. Sharing & Pitch Links
When you create and share a Pitch link, you are responsible for the content included. Standard pitches are accessible to anyone with the link. DemoVaults is not responsible for how recipients use the content accessed through your shared links.
Protected Pitches (available on Pro and Label plans) restrict access to verified email recipients. While this adds a layer of access control, it does not constitute DRM or legal copy protection. Protected Pitch access costs 1 point on Pro plans and is included free on Label plans.
9. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data may be deleted after 30 days. You may also delete your account at any time from Settings.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
DemoVaults is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DemoVaults shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
